Formentera
The island's climate is very mild. The moderate, subtropical climate provides for dry and warm but not too hot summers and mild and moist winters. In the months of May and October the daytime temperatures are between 22°C and 23°C on the average; in June/September the temperatures are between 25°C and 27°C and rise up to 29°C in July/August. In the summer months you can normally enjoy 10 to 12 hours sunshine a day while maximum two days of rain are reported in the long term average during this period.
Besides the feel-good climate there are mainly three further facts holidaymakers particularly appreciate on Formentera: The clear water, the milelong fine sand beaches and the peaceful quietness. Although there are, of course, discotheques and bars, nightlife is not really making headlines. Conviviality and diversion can be found in Formentera's fancy pubs and entertaining strand bars until late in the evening.
