Sa Roqueta

On the east coast, ca. 1 km north of Es Pujols (see Es Pujols), there is the Platja de sa Roqueta which will be your favourite once you discovered it. This 560 m long and 20 m wide beach (on average) is mostly visited by people seeking peace and relaxation in a quiet place. The marvellous white sand beach gently slopes down to the crystal clear water: ideal bathing conditions for families with children. Also nudists are fans of this idyllic bathing bay. At the northern end of the bay there is one of the typical Formentera beach bar.

As also with most of the other beaches on Formentera the Platja sa Roqueta is no high-density area. The small hotels and apartment resorts are either directly located at the beach or scattered throughout the dunes.
